FAQs

Q?

Does getting a tattoo hurt?

A.

We won’t candy coat this for you. Yes, getting a tattoo hurts. Receiving a tattoo is a painful process. It requires the artist to apply pigment to the epidermal layer of the skin. Its all about the size as well. The larger the tattoo, the longer the process takes. So no pain no gain. BUT Remember one thing, most people that get a second tattoo have braved the first time and what makes them want to get more? That is something you will have to experience to answer so don’t be a baby!

Q?

How much does it cost to get a tattoo?

A.

The cost varies on the size of your tattoo, the complexity, and where you put it on your body. Prices are always either by hour or a fixed rate agreed upon between you and one of our artists.

Q?

Your tattoo artist has put you under strict sanitary conditions.

A.

Keep it clean and follow these instructions.

1.Leave bandage on for 3-6 hours.
2.Remove bandage, wash with warm water & soap, pat dry.
3.Never bandage again.
4.Keep relatively hydrated. A fragrance-free lotion such as Aveno or Vitamin E will do the trick. Ask our artists what is best for you. We may have specialized lotions available in the shop.
5.Stay out of chlorine pools, salt water, and only minimum sun exposure while tattoo is healing.
6.DON’T PICK AT SCAB if you develop any.
7.Tattoos will heal in 10-15 days.
8. Usually around this time your tattoo may get itchy. DO NOT SCRATCH IT! A simple mild slap to the area will do.
